10-man Carrick Lose to Cliftonville with a Curran Goal

by | Feb 27, 2021

After 90 minutes at Taylor Avenue Ryan Curran’s first-half goal was enough for Cliftonville to take home the bragging rights and move up into fourth place following a 1-0 win over 10-man Carrick Rangers.

Carrick missed a few chances in the first half before Curran popped up in the 32nd minute with the only goal in the match.

A comeback for the home side was set back when Forsythe was shown a straight red card for his foul on Paul O’Neill after the hour mark.

Full time the match ended Cliftonville 1 Carrick Rangers 0. That’s a winning streak of 3 for the away side Cliftonville.

Carrick and Larne are both back in action on Tuesday night. Larne will take on Crusaders at home and Carrick are away to Glenavon.
