Linfield returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Larne on Friday night In the Danske Bank Premiership.
Shayne Lavery’s first goal broke the deadlock on the 27th minute from the penalty spot after sending Devlin the wrong way.
For Larne in the first half, they also had their chances with Mottley-Henry’s effort saved by Chris Johns, also unlucky not to get on the end of Jarvis’ cross in front of goal.
The second goal of the match came in the 72nd minute when Larne’s defence failed the clear the ball and resulted in Lavery getting his second goal.
Jeff Hughes’ netted the ball for Larne in the 89th minute slotting it past the Linfield goalkeeper Chris Johns but it was not enough to prevent a Blues win.
The win puts Linfield six points clear at the top of the Irish Premiership.
